• in the place where the elastic band will start;

Patterns of knitting socks

• We dial the required number of loops on the sock needles.
• The first row is knitted and closed in a circular knitting.

That is, the last stitch on the middle knitting needle and the first stitch on the last knitting needle are knitted together.
• The work is reversed and now the last stitch on the first knitting needle is knitted with the first stitch on the middle knitting needle.
• When there are only stitches left on the middle needle, then stop the stitches.
• Now the stitches that were not finished while we were knitting the heel are also used. But first, from the two edges of the heel you have to take as many stitches as you had at the beginning of knitting. The loops are distributed equally on the four spokes and the cloth is knitted in a circle up to the beginning of the toes.
• Now you need to start the toe. They are done in the same way as on the mitten. One stitch each from the edge of the front needle and the beginning of the back needle and from the edge of the back needle and the beginning of the front needle.
• This is done until 4 stitches are left on the spokes. They are threaded, pulled together and fastened inside the sock.

With a pattern

To knit beautiful and original socks, you can look at the scheme of jacquard patterns or come up with a suitable ornament yourself.

Usually such products are knitted from leftover yarn, but they turn out unusual and look beautiful on the foot.

The pattern can be made only below the elastic band or all over the fabric to the toe.

On 2 spokes with a stitch

To knit you will need 100 grams of yarn:

1. We'll dial in 48 loops and two stitches.
2. Let's knit with an elastic band on the cuff.
3. Knit the cuff with the selected pattern at a distance of 5 cm.
4. We'll do the bottom of the sock on 26 stitches. So you need to knit 5 cm. Knitting stop on the right side.
5. Knit the heel. Divide the stitches into three parts. Reinforce the loops of the first part with loops of the middle and the first stitch of the last part of the middle and the first stitch of the last part are knitted together with loops of the opposite side. Turn the canvas. We are removing the stitches from the side spokes by adding the middle stitches so that there are no stitches left on the side spokes. We are left with 8 loops of the middle part.
6. Do extra stitches from the side stitches, which were obtained in the process of slack. On each side of the heel to gain 9 loops.
7. Knit the cloth 14 cm on the right side.
8. Knit out the toe: 2 left side together, 21 right side, 2 together. Deduct in each row until 8 stitches are left on the needle.
9. Tighten the loops.
10. Sew the sock on the sides.

1. Dial 33 loops.

7. Knit the heel in the same way as the toe. Divide the stitches into three parts. Make the middle of the heel with the outermost stitches of the side parts. On a needle should be left 9 loops. Finish with the wrong side.
8. Add stitches, taking them from the heel stitches. On a needle should be 33 stitches.
9. Knit 4 rows, taking the edge stitches and sewing them with the outermost stitches on the back. The number of loops should not change.
10. Knit the cuff with an elastic band in the same way with the edge stitches and the end stitches on the needle in each row so that the sock is a single fabric.
11. Finish knitting when the elastic is fully knitted.
