Materials and tools for work

For handicrafts on the subject of traffic rules, any material will do. His choice depends on how old your child is and on his hobbies.

Ideas for making traffic lights

Traffic lights can be made from different materials. Each master is free to choose the most appropriate one.

From plasticine

Younger children are recommended for use dough for molding, and older children can already use plasticine, which should be a good kneading. In fact, it does not matter exactly what material will be made of traffic lights, the main thing - the maximum likeness with the real prototype. So, here we go:

  1. Make a rectangular cube from black or dark blue plasticine.
  2. For each side prepare small balls for bulbs: red, yellow, green.
  3. Flatten the balls between your fingers.
  4. Place the scones in their places.
  5. For a stand, stick a cocktail straw into the product.
  6. For the coaster, fill the lid with brown plasticine.
  7. Stick the free end of the tube into the resulting stand.
  8. If you want to make the work more difficult, make canopies for each signal.
  9. You can learn the rules.

From cardboard.

Materials and tools:

  • corrugated cardboard;
  • colored paper;
  • A box cutter;
  • glue;
  • the sleeve from the toilet paper;
  • black paint;
  • duct tape.

Making process:

  1. The traffic lights can be printed or you can draw on the bushing.
  2. Divide the corrugated cardboard into 4 equal columns.
  3. At 3 columns leave a length equal to the height of the hub, and the fourth leave an additional square for the bottom.
  4. In each column cut round holes at the same height. A total of 12 windows.
  5. Fold the workpiece, trimming the folds, if necessary.
  6. Connect the joint with duct tape.
  7. Bushing paint it black and let dry.
  8. From colored paper cut squares: 2 yellow and one red and one green. Their side is determined by the diameter of the holes.
  9. Glue the yellow squares in columns 1 and 3 in the middle.
  10. In column 2, glue the red square on the lower level.
  11. Place the green one in column 4 at the top level.
  12. Turn the sleeve upside down.
  13. Glue the handle of corrugated cardboard to the underside of the sleeve.
  14. According to the size and shape of the top with a handle, cut out a piece of cardboard and glue.
  15. The cardboard tube and box can easily be used to make a stand, but it is not necessary.

From paper.

Materials and tools:

  • colored paper;
  • gray cardboard;
  • self-sticker;
  • pencil;
  • glue.

Manufacturing Process:

  1. On the back of the cardboard, draw three columns 7.5 centimeters wide.
  2. Trim off everything beyond the edge lines.
  3. In the middle column, draw 3 circles with a diameter of 5 centimeters and a distance between the centers of 6 centimeters.
  4. Cut out circles along the contours.
  5. Make bends inward along the dividing lines of the columns.
  6. From colored paper of the main colors of the semaphore signals, cut rectangles with a height of 6 centimeters and a width of 7.5 centimeters.
  7. Glue them on the right column inside out. They should be positioned each opposite their hole.
  8. Check the accuracy by turning the blank.
  9. Glue the left and right columns, so that the signals can be seen in the windows.
  10. From cardboard cut a strip 7.5 cm wide and 2 times the height of the traffic light.
  11. Insert it into the blank, aligning the top edges.
  12. Circle the hole for the green element.
  13. Remove the strip and cut a circle.
  14. Return the movable part of the product.
  15. Moving this strip you get a traffic light system.
  16. Traffic light ready!

From a cardboard sleeve.

The supplies:

  • black cardboard;
  • colored paper;

  4. On the black cardboard, measure a rectangle 9 by 12 centimeters.
  5. On red, yellow and green paper draw circles.
  6. Cut out the drawn geometric shapes.
  7. Place the circles on the front side of the rectangle.
  8. The hub notch the edge in 2 places opposite each other.
  9. Insert the rectangle with circles in the cuts.
  10. The work is done.

  5. Fix the discs to the cardboard rectangle.
  6. Cut out circles from red, yellow and green colored paper.
  7. Glue the colored circles to the center of each CD. Follow the traffic light sequence.
  8. It remains to glue the face and hands.

Handicrafts traffic rules

The importance of traffic rules must be conveyed to children. And so these topical crafts are very useful and relevant.

Drawing .

The simplest form of crafts is considered a drawing. And complicate it, you can create a wall newspaper with children. Any object placed on it should be dedicated to the main topic.

In the case of the rules of the road at work, you can depict signs describing the meaning, the rules when using different crossings, and so on.

But since this is not just a drawing, but a wall newspaper, there should be a large and memorable title.

Plasticine crafts

Figures of plasticine is not a surprise to anyone and in children they do not cause enthusiasm. Then it's time to remember the technique of plasticine drawing. Oddly enough, many children have not even heard of it. So, it's time to get started:

  1. Print out black and white pictures of the traffic rules. It is desirable that there are no small details.
  2. Glue the paper on cardboard.
  3. After the glue dries, hide the entire construction under a layer of transparent adhesive tape.
  4. Choose the element you will start with and choose the color of plasticine for it.
  5. Well knead the plasticine in your hands.
  6. Small portions "rub" plasticine on the element, the layer should not be translucent or very thick. Do not go beyond the lines.
  7. Fill in all the details in this way.
  8. After you finish working with any part carefully wipe your hands so the clay is not mixed.
  9. This is how you get both the work with the plasticine and the picture.

Felt and crocheted figures

Equipment needed:

  • Blue, white, black, red, beige yarn;
  • crochet hook;
  • plastic bottle;
  • filler;
  • wire;
  • cardboard;
  • laminate sheet;
  • light green fabric;
  • toy eyes;
  • thread and needle;

Original materials for children's crafts on the rules of the road

When you have different materials on hand, you can use them to create creative crafts. After all, it will help to use them in a useful way.

Plastic bottles

From plastic bottles you can create some characters: a policeman, a live traffic light, a pedestrian and so on.

Let's try to make a road helper.

  1. Coat the bottle with any paint.
  2. Prepare the details of the face.
  3. Glue the face elements in place.
  4. Cut out different colored traffic lights and fix them in the right order.
  5. Hands make from twigs, wire or other material and fix them to the handicraft.
  6. Add any attribute to the hand.
  7. That's it.

Thread

Thread is not only suitable for knitting or sewing. For example, you can make one pompom of red, yellow and green. Glue them to a skewer in the right order and you get a great traffic light.

From the remnants of colored thread you can make an applique - a scheme of the city.

Street model of improvised materials

Large models, as well as small crafts can be made of any improvised materials. Here are some ideas for creating objects for such a layout:

  • For buildings, glue boxes of different sizes with colored paper. Glue the windows and door to them.
  • You can use wattman or the lid of a large cardboard box as the base of the model. On the base, draw a diagram of the settlement with roads.
  • The traffic signs are cut out of cardboard and attached to toothpicks.
  • For the model traffic lights, you can make a cardboard rectangle with the signal lights drawn with markers. The easiest thing to do, too, is to fasten it to a toothpick.
  • The role of electric poles are twigs, and wire stretched between them. To the traffic lights also need to pull through electricity.
  • Vegetation is made by any convenient method from plasticine, to weaving figures of beads.
  • Cars can be taken from a set of models, or make them too, for example, from matchboxes and buttons.

The advantages of such layouts are that they can be constantly supplemented, or changed at will and the need to learn additional rules.

Studying traffic rules for children is vital, and in the form of a game is also interesting. Create with children and help him learn the world. You have a creative success!
