The assembly foam is suitable for creating large figures in the compositions, but the work with it is very dirty. Styrofoam will also work, but it crumbles a lot when you cut it.
• Additional decor - sisal and jute cloth, mesh, floral organza, polysilk, tape, decorative tape, ribbons, beads, wrapping film, artificial greenery, etc.

Tool Kit:

• Glue gun - it is better to use a low-temperature mode for long-term work, a model with a thin spout, section 7 mm.
• Scissors - as ergonomic as possible, good quality, it is desirable to have several pieces of different sizes.
• Construction knife - sharp and thin.
• Pliers and needle-nose pliers - indispensable for working with wire and fixing elements in hard-to-reach places of construction.
• Pliers (side cutters) - for cutting wire, sticks, skewers, toothpicks.
• Sandpaper or buffs for manicure - to grind and smooth the cuts of the base of the workpiece.
• Ruler, pencil, stapler, awl.

Making a variety of compositions

From the rich selection of what you can make out of candy, there are several options suitable for different occasions.

Bouquet of flowers

Not every fresh flowers will be remembered as beautifully presented candy, also in the form of a bouquet.

• For the base of tulips, take small (up to 1.5 cm in diameter) candies. Fix each one on the end of the wire with double-sided tape.
• Cut a 16x2 cm strip of corrugated paper and seven 8x4 cm strips. Twist the long strip in the middle two or three times and fold in half. Fingers stretch the middle, put the base inside and twist the edge with the free "tails" around the wire.
• Seven strips fold in half on the long side and cut the edges in the form of petals. The middle of the petals straighten to shape. Wrap the base of the flower with double-sided tape and attach the petals one by one, giving the shape of a tulip.
• Wrap the base of the flower and stem with tape.
• For the leaves, cut 2 strips of green paper 16x2 cm, cut the edges like a leaf, straighten the core and attach with a glue gun to the stem at 3, 5 and 7 cm below the bud.
• Make 5 or 7 red and white flowers.
• Cut out a floral sponge to put in a cachet and stick flowers in it in random order.

• From Styrofoam cut out the shape of a heart and cover it with red or pink wrapping paper.
• The middle pieces for the flowers should be medium sized, about 2 cm, semicircular or round. Secure each one to a toothpick with glue or double sided tape.
• From corrugated paper of red, pink and white colors, cut rectangles 6x7 cm, at the rate of 2 petals per candy. Round the corners of one short edge and slightly stretch and twist this side.
• Wrap each base with a petal, stretching it in the middle. Wrap the second one on top in the same way and fix the bottom of the flower with scotch tape or glue.
• Shape the composition from the middle of the base, sticking toothpicks to the base of the flower.
• Decorate the sides of the base with stretched paper strips of pink and red from the edges.
• Fill the gaps with wrapped green wrapping paper pounds, fix them with glue.
• Glue the bottom of the side wall with decorative scotch tape in a suitable color, fix the bow.

Candy paper card

This beautiful handcraft made of candy is perfect as a greeting card or as an addition to a main gift.

• The box of chocolates with a lid that can be closed should be covered with wrapping paper so that the inscriptions are not visible.

• Cut out two strips of heavy cardboard 40 and 25 cm long, 12 cm wide, and carefully glue the ends.
• Cut out 2 circles with a diameter of 20 and 12.5 cm and fasten them with tape on the ready-made rings, you get 2 round boxes without a bottom.

1. Cut the foil seal so that the height is 2 cm above the chocolates, and the width is exactly the size of the number of chocolates used. The chocolates should be long and narrow, like merseys. Roll the sealer into a cylinder, staple the edges together. Cut the bottom out of the same sealant and tape it to the cylinder.
2. Wrap the bottom and sides of the future mug with brown corrugated paper.
3. From the insulation to make a handle and wrap it with corrugated paper, insert a wire inside and use it to fix the handle to the mug.
4. Wrap the top part of the paper protruding inside.

• Cut out a figure from foam plastic, resembling a jeep.
• Glue the base with corrugated paper of arbitrary color with a pencil glue.

• From the lids make wheels. Tires of black cardboard. Gold or silver rims.
• Glue the car with the candy of your choice with Titan glue or double-sided tape.

Pineapple

This is the most common craft and is easy to make:

• Pineapple is made from half-circle candy with a gold wrapper. Glue the candy with a glue gun to the champagne bottle, imitating the scales of the pineapple.
• Glue pieces of sisal cloth in an orange or brown hue between the candies.
• Cut leaves from tape similar to an aspidastra and glue to the neck of the bottle in a circular overlap.
• Hide the junction of the candies and leaves with decorative tape. Decorate with a bow.

Advantages of candy crafts
