How to draw a mushroom: realistic step-by-step drawings of edible and inedible mushrooms

Nature. It is so beautiful that it is impossible to convey in words. Some people try to express this beauty in verse, others - in art. An integral part of nature is the kingdom of mushrooms. Today we will teach you how to properly express their beauty in a drawing.

Inedible and Inedible Mushrooms

Everyone knows that mushrooms are divided into two kinds: edible and inedible. Some you can eat, others you can't. In this article, we will mostly teach you to draw just edible species, but also touch on the fly agaric.

Realistic ceps

As we all know, the ceps are the king of mushrooms. Its thick leg shows its greatness, and its large hat completes this image. How to convey its greatness on paper? Here's how to correctly draw a mushroom in pencil:

1. The first thing to do is to draw a large, elongated in breadth hat, we draw an arc along the upper half of the sheet, rounding it off, lowering it down, making a less steep semicircle.
2. Next we attach a large stem to it, tapering a little near the top, widening at the bottom, making a semicircle again. We erase the intersection with the hat with an eraser.
3. Make another small semicircle at the bottom of the cap, exactly repeat the top line.
4. Next to the large mushroom draw another, but smaller. He is a good addition to the composition. After all, as you know, mushrooms grow in families.
5. Under the "king" mark the fallen leaves, because the peak of maturity of these mushrooms comes at the beginning of autumn. You can add a couple of cones fallen from a spruce or pine. To do this, we make small arcs, pointed at the bottom. Pine cones can be shown with small rhombic shapes, made with two rows of parallel lines, placed against each other. It is not terrible if the cones and leaves will overlap the bottom of the mushroom, just wipe these moments with an eraser, which will even liven up your work.
6. We begin to paint. You can use all available materials, from colored pencils and crayons, ending with watercolor and gouache. The main thing when working with paints - work carefully so as not to get dirty, wait until this or that part of the mushroom dries before you start a new one. It is recommended to add different shades to the same color.

For example, you can start painting the hat with dark brown, continue with gold, mix it with yellow and get your own shades. This will greatly enliven the work.

We make the bottom of the hat light yellow to separate it from the top, and make the stem white, adding yellowish shades. If you've taken on a pencil job, do the work with fine strokes where you need to, that is, on the edges.

In the center, you can go wild with a broad stroke. Fallen leaves can be made golden, orange, dark green, depending on what kind of leaf you drew. The cone should be made by mixing brown and gray colors.

Fabulous white mushroom

Everyone presents the white mushroom as a king, it can be the embodiment of strength, kindness and courage. Why not draw it just like that?

1. Draw in the same way as last time, but with a few differences. On the foot we are doing big round eyes, which we can paint in brown or black.
2. Above the eyes we draw thick arcs of eyebrows, so that they rise to the top, which will create a sense of a kind face. From below with two lines we draw a smile, ending with two small cheeks in the form of semicircles.
3. If you wish, you can draw two hands, they should be large in thickness to show all the power of this mushroom.

Such a drawing can be called stylized, it is not recommended to perform it with paints, for this purpose, felt-tip pens or pencils are in the role. So it turns out more fabulous and cartoonish.

Carrot-top

Carrot-top mushroom is a frequent mushroom in our diet. Usually growing in coniferous areas of the forest, it stands out for its bright color among the dark spruces and pines. It does not have a bright image, so it is not recommended to draw it stylized.

1. Draw a flat arc on the cap of the mushroom. Draw two more down, strongly tapering to the center. At the top with a line do a small depression.
2. Cap is attached a thin leg, tapering to the bottom.
3. Add a few cones under the ginger, fallen leaves and grass. We need to pay special attention to it: it should be thin and long, almost reaching the height of the cap. You can add a couple of berries, various shrubs, ranging from rowanberries to growing strawberries.
4. If the composition seems boring, draw a blue sky. It will be perfectly combined with ginger, based on the color wheel, as it is the opposite of orange.
5. We paint the picture. We need to make the hat more colorful than the foot. To do this, you can use red and yellow shades of orange, mix these colors. We darken the foot by adding brown to the orange. Make the sky bright blue, fallen leaves and grass dark green. These colors will go very well together, creating harmony in your drawing. You will have a drawing of a beautiful cap mushroom.

Blackthorn

Everyone knows that the honeycomb is a friendly family of many kind and cheerful members. Therefore, we will draw it both realistic and stylized:

1. We start from the opposite direction: first we draw a big stump with a few lines, placed on the right side of the sheet. We draw as if we were looking at them from below, as a soldier walking on the ground would look at them.
2. On the stump we draw long elongated legs in large numbers, the different size will give liveliness. They should extend into the left side of the drawing with a slight bend. A couple of pieces can be turned around, but the main part should look to the left.
3. Make a lot of rounded upwards hats, small so that their trunks stand out in comparison. Under some of the flats in arcs draw the bottom.
4. Under the stump and to the left of it, write a little grass, add clouds so that only small pieces of the sky remain.
5. On the stump draw lots of lines going down to show the texture of the trunk.
6. Color the beech, like a white mushroom. Make the sky is not very bright, bluish, clouds leave white. Make the stump a little darker than the head of the opion, you can add a grayish hue. In places where the bark has veins, make a little darker. Make the grass darker, too.

3. Add small hands with rounded fingers.
4. Eyes painted in blue, mouth - in red, make the cheeks pinkish, a hat can be made more bright, compared with a more realistic picture, simply adding yellow color to the picture.
5. Make the sky, the grass and the stump bright, you can add red strawberries growing near the felled tree.

Remember: you have to do the work only with graphic materials.

Fly agar, inedible mushroom

As we all know, the fly agaric is a dangerous poisonous mushroom. It should not be eaten in any way. Scientists point out that in addition to poisonous substances, it contains psilocybin, a dangerous drug for the good life.

Therefore, it is necessary to explain to children with all our might that it is forbidden to eat it. That is why we paint it bright and, I dare say, disgusting, because we draw mushrooms with children and they have to understand which ones you can eat and which ones you can't.

1. The first thing we draw the cap in the form of a rounded triangle to the top. At the bottom we make a thin stem. Make an elongated leg on top.
2. Make three-dimensional spots on top, lying on top of the cap mushroom. Make them in different shapes, very small, rising to the top of the corners.
3. Draw long yellowish grasses under the mushroom.
4. By a large mushroom can be paired with another smaller mushroom.
