How to draw an angel with a pencil, marker and paint: original ideas and master classes

It is believed that the angels themselves are given to see only the elite, nevertheless the images of angels have been known since ancient times.

In the works of art of the Egyptians, Assyrians can be found winged people, in the paintings of many famous artists of the past there are plump baby angels, in the early Christian art you can also find these creatures.

Noteworthy is the fact that sexless angels, according to descriptions, most often have a masculine appearance. In modern art, though, there are no restrictions on the image of the angel. In addition, it is customary to depict cute angels on postcards and paraphernalia for various church holidays (such as Easter).

Drawing an angel is easy and simple in any variant, especially if you use a step-by-step guide.

Pencil drawing

You should start with the simplest - an angel drawn in pencil will allow you to understand the basic principles of drawing. In addition, you can attract children to the creativity - they will certainly enjoy drawing cute angels together with their parents.

For work you need a sheet of paper, a simple pencil, an eraser, and a set of colored pencils for coloring.

The first thing you need to depict an oval - most of all it resembles a plump lemon lying on its side. On the sides you need to draw neat ears.

Now it is necessary to "shape" the face with small eyes, a nose and a smile.

Angel with a marker pen

All you need for this job is a piece of paper and a black (blue and yellow) marker.
