To create a crown, it is better to give preference to cardboard with a shiny or shiny surface, so as not to spend money on glitter or glitter.

There is a wide selection of glittery kind of cardboard in stores: silver, gold, colored with glitter. You can choose a suitable color that will be in harmony with the main costume.

An important criterion is that the cardboard should be thick enough to be firmly on the head and attached to the additional accessories.

First of all, you will need a template. They are available in plenty in the article below, but you can try to create such a template from your idea, which will fit a particular costume.

The template that you choose can be adjusted to the right size, width and length in a graphic editor and printed on a printer. If you have sketching skills, you can manually redraw the template from the monitor.

The size of the template is chosen based on the circumference of the child's head. For an average child of 10-12 years old, the length of the crown between the outermost points is 20 cm. The highest point at the top of the crown can reach about 10 cm:
