Ideas for handmade angel crafts
Simply white angels, made from a template - the simplest version of such a handicraft. And if you add ribbons, bright flowers, sequins and other decorations, it will give your creation originality and attractiveness.
If you start with such simple ideas, you can gradually move on to making angels using more complex techniques.

Well mastered the technique of braiding and making knots, you can decorate such angels and Christmas tree, and the apartment interior.
For durability of such a souvenir, you should tie all the knots 2 times.
What you will need:
- cardboard;
- yarn;
- lace or organza for the wings;
- glue;
- Decorations (rain, snowflakes, etc.);
- silver braid.
Work process:
- On a 5.5×8.5 cm rectangular piece of cardboard (or plastic card), wrap several layers of thread. Cut them from the bottom.
- The resulting long strand is divided into three parts: 9 strands - for the arms of the angel, 8 - for the ties, the rest - for the body with the head.
- Tie the last bundle in the middle and fold in half. Tie at the neck, separating the head from the body.
- Braid a bunch of 9 threads into a braid, roll up into a ring and tie it off. Carefully cut off excess threads. Pass the ring through the middle of the body and tie at the waist.
- To form palms on the arms tie the middle of the ring with a thread, so that the palms were raised up as a prayer. Pass the ends around the waist and fasten to the back, so that the palms do not fall down.
- Glue together a 2.5 cm diameter cardboard circle into a cone. Insert it for balance under the skirt and glue it inside to the waist. Trim the bottom of the skirt.
- On the head tie a halo of silver ribbon.
- To make hair wind a piece of cardboard 3x4 cm thread, cut on one side. In the middle to intercept the thread. Glue the hair on the head of the angel.
- The bottom edge of the skirt can be decorated with silver braid.

Instructions for making:
- The angel is created from simple and double pointed kanzashi petals. Ribbon should preferably be cut with a heat cutter so that you don't have to work the ends with a lighter or a candle.
- To make one double petal, take two pieces each of white ribbon and gold brocade 5x5 cm. All segments folded diagonally, in the form of triangles, the ends soldered together. Then fold again and solder again. 2 finished triangles fold together (the gold top), the edges together. The ends trim, solder. The bottom petal cut smoothly (not slanted!), treat with fire and fasten with tweezers.
- You need to prepare 12 such petals. To glue them together, apply glue to the side of the petal and glue the next petal. Similarly, glue the remaining six petals. Connect both halves in the form of a pyramid. We get the bottom row of dresses.
- Petals can be decorated with 6 mm beads (glued or sewn).
- The top tier of the dress will also consist of 12 petals. The pyramid is also prepared, but from simple white petals 2.5x2.5 cm.

- Glue together 2 petals. The third glue between them, applying glue to the edges at the base. In the same way to make another.
- Lift the bead, glue on the bell and cord, and petals on both sides. Put glue on the bottom of the beads, glue to the wings.

- For clothes, we will take a strip of corrugated paper 15 cm long and 3 cm wide. Let's paint one edge with gold color acrylic. When it dries, put a little PVA glue on the end of the paper and dip it in gold sequins. From the paper strip cut off 1.5 cm for the sleeves and 9 cm for the dress. Also decorate the halo with sequins.
- Cut the sleeves to the right length. Glue them together lengthwise. As they dry, put them together a little, put them on the handle of the frame. Dab the glue at the base, press it with tweezers to hold it in place.
- Do the same with the dress. Make a couple of cuts for the sleeves. Let's put the dress on the frame, but first glue it where the hands are.
- When it dries, attach the dress to the frame with glue, simultaneously forming folds. In them we will hide the main place of gluing. Tie everything up with a wire until it dries.
- Let's remove the wire. Tie an angel with fishing line to strengthen the wings and hang the figurine in a ball. Let us leave 15-20 cm of thread. A bead for the head is covered with gold sequins.
- Draw the wings on a piece of paper folded in half. On top of the finished image we put organza. Fold 10 cm of wire in half, twisting a loop in the middle. Spread the wire around the contour of the wings.
- Glue the wire with Moment glue on the organza according to the template. White outline drawing, sprinkle with glitter. When the glue dries, cut out the wings according to the outline drawing.
- Stitch the wings with thread, tying the figure, through a loop of wire, making knots and securing them with glue. Cut off one end. To make the wings hold tighter, before sewing them on, you need to drop glue on the joint.
- From heavy foil cut a quarter circle (0.8 cm radius). Screw the blank on a toothpick until you get an even narrow cone. Glue the resulting cone to the arms of the angel, using a tiny drop of Moment glue.
- To put a cute creature in a glass ball, you need to fold the clothes of an angel, fold the wings into a tube, raise the hands with the cone and put the angel into the ball.
