How to draw a daisy in a step-by-step pencil and watercolor: children's and professional drawings
This flower fascinates with its simplicity, purity, some kind of morning freshness. And it seems that to draw it is easy. But for a beginner, taking on this job, sometimes not so good.
Why not? Usually, the reason for failure is that they start the image "in the wrong place. Namely, with petals, not with the outline of the bud.
About how to do the drawing correctly, below is told in detail. And also about what "easy" pictures you can draw with a daisy, how to depict it with watercolor and gouache paints, what nuances need to be respected. So.
Drawing in pencil step by step
The first thing to do is to understand how to draw the flower of the daisy sequentially. From this will depend on the whole outcome of the "event".
Let's get down to business, having prepared:
- a sheet of white paper,
- eraser,
- colored pencils,
- and pencils (the universal version is TM and M).
For beginners! TM (NV) are medium soft pencils (so called hard-soft). They are the most demanded, standard, with their help you can do the whole basic drawing. M (B2, B4 and others) are soft pencils used for hatching and touch-up.
You make an image in three stages:
Stage 1: Sketch
It is carried out in 5 steps:
- Draw a horizontal ellipse with a pencil on the leaf. This will be the middle of the flower.
- Around it we draw the second figure of the same size, but larger. This is the border of the petals.
- Between the first and second oval draw petals.
- From the middle of the flower downwards vertically draw a line: the stem.
- "Attach" to the stalk leaf.
All done, a pencil sketch of a daisy ready. Now you need to clean up with an eraser and work out the nuances.
Step 2: making the picture realistic
To make the picture look more natural, you should add some details: tracing the petals, the middle of the flower stalk, leaves. Detailed flower slowly, accurately:
- Petals are made narrowed down, slightly curved and slightly different in size. At their base and edge of the short strips depict the folds.
- In the central part of the flower (midpoint) draw "fishnet" (or very small circles).
- On the leaves are applied veins. The jagged edges will be even more natural.
- Some insect, such as a ladybug with dark dots, planted on one of the petals, will add realism.
The drawing "enriched" with details. Now it's time to color everything.
Step 3: coloring
The daisy can be depicted both in color and in black and white.
In the first case yellow and orange pencils are used (for the core), light and dark green (for the stem and leaves) and blue (to give a shade of petals).
Sometimes a dark felt-tip pen (or marker) is used to trace the outlines of the plant parts.
In the second case, you need soft simple pencils (M, B2, B4). With their help, darken the mesh (circles) on the right side of the bud and some places on the petals, put shadows on them, draw the stem (leaves) and create a background around the plant.
In this way, depicting a flower is really not that difficult. It is only necessary to remember the sequence of drawing the bud and the whole plant. Having mastered the image of a daisy step by step, it will not be difficult to draw and daisy bouquet.
A bunch of daisies
Draw charming flowers in the form of a bunch as follows:
- Picture (as described earlier) several buds (for example, 3, 5, 7 pieces), and not far from each other. The buds should be next to each other horizontally as well as one above the other.
- From the middle down draw the stems (connecting them at the bottom).
- Dorisovyvayut leaves.
- Coloring.
As an option: stems do not connect the bottom, but in the middle of their "intercepted" elegant bow. Such a picture is nice to give someone as a gift postcard.
As you can see, having received the skills of drawing one flower, it is very easy to perform and image a bouquet.
Bouquet of daisies in a vase
Now it's time to try to perform another drawing: "put" a bouquet in a vase. It will be very easy to do if you learn how to depict a bouquet of flowers, as described above.
Only instead of a bow you should draw an unpretentious vase: square, rounded or embossed shape, to your liking.
The vase can be painted over, making it monochrome; you can draw patterns on it, and you can depict a transparent vase. The latter option is easy to do with a simple pencil TM, which should be carefully shaded stems (slightly darkening them in the shadow part).
Chamomile in watercolor
Drawing in watercolor looks very dressy, and many people like to do the work with paints and a brush. Well - below is a detailed description of how to draw a daisy using watercolor paints.
You will need:
- watercolor paints in a set,
- A sheet of watercolor paper,
- brushes (flat and round),
- a palette for mixing colors,
- water containers (for washing brushes and clean water).
Once you have the materials and artist's tools ready, you can begin. A "watercolor daisy" will turn out in five steps:
- Prepare the background: color the sheet with, for example, a gray-blue color.
- Approximately in the center "place" a yellow-brown oval.
- Around it "release" white petals. This will need a flat brush. Strokes are carried out toward the middle, while carefully narrowing them. Petals are made of different shades, mixing the paint. Add petals on top - pure white paint. They decorate the petals.
- The lower part of the middle of the bud make a light green - so you can achieve its volume. Then, combining the red and yellow colors, put on the core of the point. Add white "dots" in the form of a semi-circle.
- Next should be bent strip down from the bud to draw a stem and add leaves, using different shades of green.
Such a picture to draw too, not particularly difficult. You don't need a sketch. However, you should practice, say, applying strokes or obtaining shades by mixing colors.
The painted daisy with watercolor can be put in a frame and decorate the room with it.
A field of daisies in gouache
And here is another great way to create a picture "under the frame": with the help of a small set of gouache paints.
For this you will also need:
- a thick white sheet of paper,
- palette,
- tissue paper,
- synthetic brushes,
- a cup of water.
"Chamomile field", as in the case of watercolor, does not need pencil sketches. The drawing is begun at once, taking the brush in his hands:
- Blue and white gouache are mixed on a palette and applied to the sheet: the sky over the field.
- On the bottom of the sheet with green strokes of different shades and yellow flecks recreate the field itself. Drying.
- Flowers: Their number can be any. Brush with white gouache make impressions of the petals.
- Add highlights to the petals by applying blue paint (combined white and blue gouache).
- In the center of the flowers draw yellow circles.
- Now the leaves and stems: they should be painted with dark green paint, shading with yellow gouache, and finally - creating highlights with white gouache.
This method is unpretentious and very conducive to creativity.
A "baby" daisy
And this is the easiest way: drawing a daisy for children. After all, it would not be easy for a little person, for example, to draw ellipses evenly one around the other, and then inside the core "deduce" the mesh!
The "baby" way looks like this:
- Draw a slightly curved stem with two lines going next to each other.
- Draw a circle (the center of the bud) on top.
- Draw four oblong petals around the circle: as if from the north, from the south, from the west and from the east. And then between them three more petals: trying not to be too different from each other in width.
- To the left and right of the stalk depict a leaf pointed from above.
- Color the flower: the core of the core to make a yellow, bluish the petals in some places, and leaves dressed in green.
That's all. At first the drawing, of course, should be done together with the baby, showing and telling in detail the sequence of the image of a flower, and later the child himself will easily do it.
As you can see, the options for the image of daisies can be different, but all of them are easy to do. And if you have a desire to draw a simple, gentle, sunny and joyful flower - take pencils and paints in your hands without much hesitation. Create. And enjoy your creativity!
